On Sunday 29th of December our children planted traditional Christmas wheat, a beautiful symbol of life and renewal. They also prepared delicious cookies for our Christmas Eve bake sale. To reserve your wheat and cookies, feel free to reach out to us.

Beloved Parishioners and Friends of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church,
The glorious Feast of the Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ fills our hearts with gratitude for the many blessings bestowed upon us.
This year, however, we find ourselves in a time of great financial difficulty. Our small yet vibrant parish, which has been a cherished place of prayer and worship and nursery of language and culture for so many, is facing significant challenges. Despite the growth of our community and the recognition of our efforts by larger communities, our financial resources remain strained. This is why we are reaching out to you, our beloved family in Christ, with an earnest plea for your help.
Over the past year, your generosity has allowed us to maintain our beautiful church building, improve our holy temple, and organize events.
Our annual budget depends heavily on the kindness and support of our donors, without whom our mission could not continue.
St. George Serbian Orthodox Church exists because of you. Your love, prayers, and generosity are the foundation upon which we build our spiritual home. Each donation, no matter the size, is an act of love that helps preserve our parish for future generations.
This Christmas, we humbly ask you to consider making a special contribution to St. George.

Christmas 2014 at St. George - January 6 & 7CHRISTMAS EVE- БАДЊЕ ВЕЧЕ
We will be holding our Badnje Veče (Christmas Eve) Service and "Blessing of the Yule Log" on January 6 @ 6:30 PM. Following the service, there will be a Lenten Supper provided. Please come out with your families, friends, and loved ones and help us make this a celebration fit for THE KING!
On January 7, Božić (Christmas Day), we will have Divine Liturgy @ 8:00AM. We should make this a priority to attend if at all possible as this Divine Liturgy celebrates the Nativity of Our Lord, Jesus Christ. Following the Christmas Day services, Fr. Petar, wife Gordana, and the Petrović family will once again be sponsoring a luncheon for all in attendance of the Divine Liturgy. What better way is there to celebrate the Nativity of Christ and then enjoy wonderful fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ? We look forward to seeing you all there, God-willing!
